General Class Information
Are you looking to start deer hunting?
This one day course for women will introduce you to various techniques needed when you are starting deer hunting in New Hampshire, and focuses specifically on firearm based hunting with the goal that you can go hunting this fall.
The session will cover where to hunt, what you’re looking for the day of your hunt, what to bring with you, hunting styles and techniques, game recovery, and more! This class is for anyone who has gone through hunter’s education and is looking for the practical skills needed when preparing for deer hunting.
Event will be held rain or shine- Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring rain gear, sunscreen, and bug spray.
Due to COVID, participants are asked to bring their own lunches. Snacks and water will be available.
Once registered online, print and mail all required forms (found below under "Details") to Kaitlyn Kelleher: BOW Coordinator, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03301. They can also be e-mailed to Kaitlyn.Kelleher@wildlife.nh.gov
Forms must be in the BOW office by September 28th, or your name will be removed from the roster and your space will be opened back up to the public. You will be sent a confirmation letter and gear list after September 28th.
